Ingredients:
  • 2 kg pork ham in its skin
  • 1 onion
  • 400g small onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 30 cloves
  • salt, pepper

Sposób przygotowania

Preparation:
Clean and dry the meat and rub over with salt and pepper. Score the skin and spread over the oil. Push the cloves into the skin. Place the ham in a roasting tin, skin down, pour in a glass of hot water and roast for 2 hours at a temperature of 220°C. Clean the carrot and cut into pieces. Peel the onion and slice into four pieces. Halfway through the cooking time turn over the ham, add the vegetables and baste the meat with the juices, adding some water. Remove the meat from the tin and set aside, keeping it warm. Put the juices from underneath the meat through a sieve, season with salt and pepper and bring to the boil. Slice the ham and warm it up in the sauce. Melt the butter with the honey, place in the peeled small onions, sprinkle over some salt and brown. Serve the ham with the sauce, surrounded by the small onions.
